Day 1 - Casablanca

Day overview :

Arrive in Casablanca at any time and check in to your hotel. In the evening, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers for a welcome briefing and an introduction to the journey ahead.

After breakfast, travel to Tangier and enjoy a guided tour of the city’s highlights, including the Kasbah, the Grand Socco, the Petit Socco, and the historic medina. Take in the spectacular views where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea before continuing to the charming blue town of Chefchaouen.

Enjoy a full day at leisure to discover the blue streets of Chefchaouen, browse local craft shops, or relax in one of its cafés. Those looking for more adventure can join an optional hike through the Rif Mountains, including the Spanish Mosque and beautiful mountain scenery.

Enjoy a traditional lunch before taking a guided tour of the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continue on to Fès.

Leaving Chefchaouen for a guided tour of the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continue on to Fés. Continue through the rolling hills to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Take a guided tour of the bestpreserved Roman ruins in this part of Northern Africa, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Meknes city as one of the beautiful imperial cities in Morocco. After, continue to the imperial city of Fés, one of Morocco’s most interesting cities. Enjoy free time this evening.

In the evening, savor a traditional Moroccan dinner before gathering around the campfire under the stars, with local music and traditional drumming

Merzouga – Todra Gorge, 3 hours and 30 minutes

Travel through the breathtaking landscapes of southern Morocco to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch, then explore the iconic fortified village with a local guide, famous for its traditional kasbah architecture and as the filming location for movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. In the evening, you may choose to join an optional Moroccan tagine cooking class and enjoy your homemade dinner.

Todra Gorge – Aït Ben Haddou, 4 hours
Settle in and scan the scenery from the convenience of a private vehicle.

Travel to Imlil, the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains, where a short hike leads to the mountain village of Ait Souka. Along the way, enjoy the fresh mountain air and stunning views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Upon arrival, relax at a traditional mountain guesthouse and enjoy a homemade Moroccan dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients.

Private transfer from Aït Ben Haddou to Imlil (approximately 5 hours).
Hike from Imlil to Ait Souka (approximately 2 – 3 hour), suitable for anyone with an average level of fitness.

After breakfast, enjoy a short walk back to Imlil before driving to the charming coastal town of Essaouira. On the way, visit the Zarbiat Achbarou Women’s Cooperative, where you’ll discover the traditional art of Moroccan carpet weaving, meet the local artisans, and enjoy Moroccan tea with homemade cookies.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, enjoy free time to explore the city’s relaxed atmosphere, historic medina, picturesque fishing port, and beautiful Atlantic coastline at your own pace.
